
EO provides opportunity each year for interested individuals to initiate or to advance their coaching credentials. We offer two CanSkate courses - spring and summer as well as Primary, Intermediate STARSkate, Level 3 and CanPowerSkate courses in the summer subject to ice availability and registrations.
General Information
CanSkate, STARSkate - Primary & Intermediate, CanPowerSkate, Level 3 Courses
Our online entry form must be completed either online and printed; or, printed and completed manually. You are NOT registered until we receive both the entry form, supporting documents (as noted) and payment!
In general the courses are schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, there may be some variation in the time depending on how quickly the course materials are covered.

CanSkate Coach Certified: As of September 1, 2009, all CanSkate trained coaches must either be CanSkate Coach Certified ...
Mentor Coach or must have completed their Primary STARSkate Coach training within two (2) years of the date when he/she was first registered as a CanSkate Coach.
ISPC Courses: In order for a coach candidate to be allowed into a discipline specific ISPC course they MUST have completed the Home Study plus Sport Science and Stroking & Skatings Skills courses successfully.
Proof of completion IS required.
