Test Day Applications & Information
The application for Competitive, Off Season, and Winter Test Days is submitted by clubs throughout the year - the Judge's Bureau (Section Office) must receive the application 3 months prior to the Test Date. When applying for test days, consider special events and schedule around them (i.e. local school exams, PA days, March Break; competitions including Section-partnered events; holidays; EO Annual General Meeting, etc.).

Sanctioned Test Days are subject to the availability of evaluators-judges. All requests for changes to the Test Day must be in writing (email, fax) i.e. reschedule, cancellation. Note: If the Test Day is a High Test Day that is cancelled for any reason, the Test Day will not be rescheduled due to the lack of availability of Judges.

Reports
Promptness is imperative in order to be eligible for another Test Day. The skater's test records must be kept up-to-date. Submit all documentation as noted below within 3 weeks of the date of test - failure to report could render the tests null and void by Skate Canada plus jeopardize the club's opportunities for future test days with the Section.

Gold Interpretive Test Exception Requests
SKATE CANADA POLICY
A skater may apply to take a number of Interpretive Tests at one test day and of course the testing of the next level is dependent on passing the lowest level first. Each test should be performed each time as there are different standards used for each test level.

The only time there may be an exception is if a skater at a Gold Free Skate Test level or a Gold Dance and Gold Skating Skills level (or combination of high level tests) applies to take the Gold Interpretive Test, foregoing lower level Interpretive Tests, with the execution of one performance of their interpretive program. These requests will be treated on a case-by-case basis by the National office Skating Programs Department. The skater is responsible for the fees of the other Interpretive tests that they are bypassing. All the test (s) must be indicated on the test summary sheet that is submitted by the Test Chair.

Approval Process
The Club Test Chair must email Skate Canada Member Services directly for approval for the Gold Interpretive Test Exception or call (local) 613-747-1007 or (toll free) 1.888.747.2372, ext. 2519.
