- Dance
- Skating Skills
- Interpretive Singles and/or Couples

Gold Interpretive Test Exception Requests
SKATE CANADA POLICY
A skater may apply to take a number of Interpretive Tests at one test day and of course the testing of the next level is dependent on passing the lowest level first. Each test should be performed each time as there are different standards used for each test level.
The only time there may be an exception is if a skater at a Gold Free Skate Test level or a Gold Dance and Gold Skating Skills level (or combination of high level tests) applies to take the Gold Interpretive Test, foregoing lower level Interpretive Tests, with the execution of one performance of their interpretive program. These requests will be treated on a case-by-case basis by the National office Skating Programs Department. The skater is responsible for the fees of the other Interpretive tests that they are bypassing. All the test (s) must be indicated on the test summary sheet that is submitted by the Test Chair.
PROCEDURE
The Club Test Chair is to submit the Gold Interpretive Test Exception Request to the Section Office
no later than 30 days prior to the test day date. The Section will then forward the Exception Request to Skate Canada for their determination.
Diamond Dance
Effective April 1, 2010, a Skate Canada - Eastern Ontario Certificate will be issued for all skaters who have fulfilled the requirements for Diamond Dance. In order to be recognized on our Diamond Dance List and in our Annual Report, the test chair of the club must submit the
Diamond Dance Application Form along with a copy of the Diamond Dance Test Certificate issued by Skate Canada.
(The skater must complete 4 of 6 dances listed to qualify.)
